At the sanctuary, you will discover the personal stories behind the elephants and the people who care for them.
Today, four female elephants call this place home.
They came from Chiang Mai after difficult chapters in their lives.
They were not born as a family.
But over time, they have created something beautiful:
A new family built on trust, friendship, and care.
(And just like human families… they probably have their own personalities, favourite foods, and occasional disagreements. 🐘😄)
One of them is still young — bringing curiosity, energy, and a reminder that every rescued animal deserves the chance to enjoy life.

🌿 Conservation That Helps The Whole Community
True conservation is not only about animals.
It is also about people.
The sanctuary’s approach supports the local community by creating relationships with nearby farmers.
Bang, the sanctuary owner, works with local farmers to provide elephant food supplies — including encouraging pesticide-free farming by paying more for sustainably grown feed.
This creates a positive cycle:

Local village children have even saved money in their own piggy banks to help support the elephants.
