Teacher Training for local Teachers
Thousands of teachers worldwide have upgraded their teaching game with TEFL International.
Less lecturing, more learning.
For decades, we've teamed up with education leaders across Asia—including SAFEA, universities, international schools, and school boards in Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, the Philippines, and China—to help local teachers teach smarter, not harder, and maybe even survive the staff room coffee.

In 2017, TEFL International partnered with Japan’s Riso Kyoiku Co. to certify more than 30 School TOMAS instructors, strengthening the company’s credibility with Japanese private academies and high schools. Through the 120-hour TESOL program, teachers received training in Japanese classroom culture, keigo communication, learner engagement, pronunciation support, live online instruction, and clear speech for better comprehension. Each also completed six hours of supervised practicum in Cebu public elementary classrooms, meeting international standards for both online and face-to-face English teaching.
