And let’s be honest—teaching young children is already an adventure. Teaching young children who do not speak your language adds an extra level of excitement! A simple classroom instruction can quickly become a creative game of gestures, facial expressions, and very enthusiastic guessing.

As you work alongside Thai kindergarten and primary school teachers, you'll exchange far more than lesson ideas. You'll share creativity, solve classroom challenges together, celebrate small successes, and discover that great teaching speaks a language all its own. As part of your kindness exchange, you will receive six Thai language lessons with a certified Thai instructor. You may not become fluent in Thai in six lessons (your kindergarten students might still teach you a few words first!), but you will gain something even more valuable—the ability to greet your students, understand simple conversations, encourage participation, and show respect for their language and culture.
