Additional course content on program:
Khmer language & cultural classes (ie. teaching in Cambodia).
Building friendships means understanding others and having good rapport with them. On the Sapphire Program, there will be additional lessons on: recognizing different student learning styles and applying them to your planning; as well as solving the majority of classroom management problems.
You will practice teaching with Cambodian & Thai students, either children or language students in the same profession as you.
Volunteer hours may be spent by:
1. Teaching English or IT at the Rubbish School in Siem Reap with Kimleng.
2. Teach at a Cambodian village near Siem Reap.
Includes your choice of:
1. Tour of Angkor Wat and photographs with Kimleng.
2. Sub-Culture Friendship Beach Party (weekend trip on Phi-Phi Island & Ralway Beach in Krabi).
