1. I do not have any teaching
experience will that be a problem?
No. We will equip you with all the necessary
skills to teach, plus provide you with actual classroom
teaching experience.
2. Will my lack of knowledge
of English grammar affect my chances of passing the
course?
No! Although grammar is a major course
module, you will be given plenty of instruction to
start you on your way.
3. Do I need to do some preparation
before the course starts?
No. Once you have enrolled in the course
you will be sent a detailed course description that
will explain everything about the course to you. In
fact everything you need to prep for the course will
be emailed to you.
4. Who will be my teachers?
We insist that all our trainers are
degree qualified and have additional vocational teaching
qualifications. They are also very experienced in
all levels of education in Asia.
5. How many hours of actual
classroom teaching experience will I have during the
course?
6 hours. Each hourly session will
be observed after which you will receive feedback
from your tutor.
6. Who will I be teaching?
School children and adults who work
in the tourist industry and other local businesses.
7. English is not my first language.
What do I do?
Assuming that you
are reading this page you should not a have problem
completing our course.
8. Are there any exams?
There is one end of course assessment
paper.
9. What is the average number
of students on your courses?
Typically, 8-10 students. The maximum
class size being 10.
10. How can I find work after
the course?
Although job placement cannot be guaranteed
we will help you all we can! You will be given advice
and assistance regarding jobs during the course.
11. What about free time?
Weekends and evenings are free.
12. How much should I allow
for living expenses?
We reckon on about 1,000 Baht a day
to live reasonably comfortably. That would include
accommodation, food and transportation. Things like
sight-seeing trips or just partying will obviously
cost you extra.
13. What about visas?
If you are outside Thailand we can assist you with obtaining an Education visa. Alternatively you can enter the country on a 60 day visa, again, if applied for outside Thailand. Finally, If you arrive at any border you will be granted a 30 day visa.
